Three separate gardens will be open on Mothers Day weekend.
One in the delightful Batchelor township, and two enjoying rural views and spacious gardens on the township fringes.
The Batchelor Markets will be held on Sunday from 8am to 1pm on the Batchelor Oval in conjunction with a Sports Expo sponsored by Coomalie Community Government Council
The township garden, 17 Pinaroo Crescent, Batchelor is a calm oasis surrounding the traditional top end elevated home, with palms, natives, water lilies and lush lawns.
Denmar Downs, 41 Miles Road, Eva Valley provides sweeping views from the expansive terrace across neighbouring fields.
405 Litchfield Park Road, Rum Jungle is a country garden packed with interesting and intriguing plants and creative metal scuptures.
All three gardens will be open for a total cost of just $10. Visitors will receive wrist bands at the first garden visited, and these will enable admission to the other gardens over the weekend.
This Open Garden event will be supporting the Batchelor Area School and the YWCA Youth Diversion program
Garden Notes
Garden notes are written by the garden owner and often tell the story of their garden. Click the links below to download the notes or a map of all three Batchelor Open Gardens. Garden notes will also be available at the Gardens on the entry table.
